Yokohama Action Plan: [1]Provide assistance to expand agricultural research, extension and advisory services including for adaptation to climate change, development of new crop varieties and improvement of soil fertility and other farming technologies, and increase the number of agriculture professionals through support for agriculture-related education and training in a gender sensitive manner.

Proposed Measures by Japan/Implementing Partners: ● Partners support Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) strategic planning and programming at national and regional levels, as well as scaled up interventions in land and water management, infrastructure (e.g. irrigation) and market development, and expansion and uptake of agricultural technology
