Status: Training, skills development, information services for youth employment are on-going as follows:
- Training programme for youth-led business (Ex. Cote d’Ivoire: 2884 seminar participants, 417 trainees, Guinea: 1,401 trainees, Liberia: 672 trainees, Sierra Leone:491 trainees, apart from youth who are already engaged through the UNIDO/YEN Competitive Grant Schemes with 928 trainees till Dec 2009)

Status: UNIDO’s Training, skills development, information services for youth employment are on-going and the following activities were carried out:
- Steering committee meeting (24 Nov 2008, Sierra Leone, Attendees: African Gov’ts above, UN, WB, youth groups)
- Training programme for youth-led business (21 Nov-6 Dec 2008, Guinea, Total: 345 people )
- Consensus-building Workshops (25-26 Nov 2008, Sierra Leone, Total: 404 people from 62 towns/villages)
- Youth Forum (March 2009, Sierra Leone, 200 participants, Communication Platform established)
