[1]Support African countries to plan and implement industrial development strategies and policies, drawing on Asian experiences as appropriate. ● Support African countries in policy making on industrial development strategies and provide technical support for improving industrial development GoJ(MOFA)/JICA/AOTS/WBG GoJ (MOFA)/JICA: Expand the quota of private sector development-related training programs for 1500 Africans
AOTS: Provide training for Africa to promote facilitating trade and investment through transferring Japan’s technical skills(*)
WBG: (i) Expand knowledge transfer between Asia and Africa on business climate, (ii) Engage in lending, technical assistance, and advisory work on investment climate reforms and cooperation in 40 Sub-Saharan African countries

●Concrete projects will be selected through consultations between Japan/Implementing Partners and African countries.
●MDB projects are to be decided.
●$ = US dollars
●Assistance measures written on a yellow ground are those embodied in 2008 (JFY) after TICAD IV.
