Conclusion of the Activities of the Japan Disaster Relief Self-Defense Forces Unit in Response to the Damage Caused by Forest and Land Fires in the Republic of Indonesia

The Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Self-Defense Forces Unit, which had been dispatched in response to the damage caused by the forest and land fire in Kalimantan, Indonesia, concluded their on-site activities on the 29 and is scheduled to return to Japan as soon as necessary preparations are finalized.
- The Government of Indonesia expressed its appreciation for the activities by the JDR Self-Defense Forces Unit.
- The Government of Japan will continue working closely with the Government of Indonesia to advance cooperation in the fields of disaster response and disaster prevention.
