Return of the Japan Disaster Relief Medical Team in Response to the Earthquake Damage in Venezuela

The Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team, which had been conducting medical assistance activities in response to the damage caused by the earthquake in Venezuela, concluded its medical operations in the affected area on July 27 and returned to Japan on August 1.
Through the medical assistance activities of its first and second batches, the Medical Team provided medical care to more than 1,600 cases in Venezuela. The Venezuelan people have expressed their gratitude for the Team's efforts.

- Emergency Grant of USD 3.5 million through the World Food Programme (WFP), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM)
