Alert to Countries, Companies, and Other Entities Regarding North Korean IT Workers
On July 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Cybersecurity Office, the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, with the relevant agencies of the ally and like-minded countries, including the United States of America and the Republic of Korea, issued the “Alert for Countries, Companies, and Other Entities Regarding North Korean IT Workers”.
Japan will continue to strengthen its efforts with the ally and like-minded countries and the private sector to address threats posed by North Korean IT workers.
