Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU by Mr. Serghei COTELINIC, General Director of Moldovan Railways and the Delegation

On July 6, commencing at 5:00 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by Mr. Serghei COTELINIC, General Director of Moldovan Railways, and a delegation of three others, who are visiting Japan upon invitation under the “Information Gathering and Verification Survey for the Promotion of Cross-Border Logistics in Moldova.”
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU welcomed the visit to Japan by General Director COTELINIC, as well as officials from Moldovan Railways and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Moldova, and a representative of Ukrainian Railways.
- State Minister KUNIMITSU also expressed her wish that the experience obtained in Japan would contribute to the development of railway networks in Europe and help deepen relations between Japan and Moldova, as well as reconstruction of Ukraine.
- In response, General Director COTELINIC and the delegation expressed their gratitude for Japan’s assistance across various fields, and stated their intention to utilize the knowledge and experiences obtained in Japan, to contribute to the development of Moldova and Ukraine, and to work to strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and Moldova.
