Ambassador HAYASHI’s Attendance at the Presentation Ceremony for “the Japan Foundation Prizes for Global Citizenship 2025”

On February 18, Mr. HAYASHI Teiji, Representative of the Government of Japan for Public Diplomacy (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary) attended the presentation ceremony for “the Japan Foundation Prizes for Global Citizenship 2025” held in Tokyo in the presence of Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado.

  1. Ambassador HAYASHI made opening remarks, in which he congratulated the three recipients of the prizes: “Multilingual Picture Book Association RAINBOW” (Meguro Ward, Tokyo), “NPO Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Collaborative Organization” (Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture), and “General Incorporated Association Multicultural Resource Center Yamanashi” (Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture). Ambassador HAYASHI also expressed respect for their invaluable efforts and passion, which have spanned many years in working to overcome language and cultural barriers and promote international understanding and regional development.
  2. Ambassador HAYASHI also stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to work in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and hand in hand with all those striving to realize an orderly coexistence society, promoting cross-cultural understanding and international cultural exchange.
