Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU by Dr. SEITA, Director of Health at UNRWA

On November 6, commencing at 3:30 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by Dr. SEITA Akihiro, Director of Health at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The overview of the courtesy call is as follows:
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU expressed her deep respect for Dr. SEITA for his dedication to supporting Palestine refugees under challenging circumustances. She expressed the intention to improve the humanitarian situation of Palestine refugees.
- In response, Dr. SEITA expressed his profound gratitude for Japan's support stating that Japan's support is highly trusted and provided an update on the situation concerning UNRWA.
- In addition, both sides exchanged views on matters including support to the Gaza Strip.
