Video Message by Mr. IWAYA Takeshi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan for Raisina Tokyo

"Raisina Tokyo" was held on 22nd May, and Mr. IWAYA Takeshi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, delivered a video message. The overview of the conference and the message is as follows.
- The conference aims to strengthen political and economic ties of relevant countries, primarily between Japan and India, as well as the United States, Australia, and island countries. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics including security, economic partnership, and green energy.
- At the outset, Minister Iwaya extended his deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to victims and grieving families of the terrorist attack that occurred in Kashmir. Minister Iwaya also stated that terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances, and that Japan unequivocally condemns all forms of terrorism and remains firmly committed to contributing to the peace and stability of the region.
- Minister Iwaya also stated that India, as a leading voice of the Global South and a nation with which Japan shares fundamental values, is an indispensable strategic partner and that he remains steadfast in his commitment to ensuring that Japan and India work hand in hand to lead the international community toward prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and to address global challenges.
