Dispatch of the Medical Information Management Team in response to the damages caused by the Earthquake in Port Vila in the Republic of Vanuatu

In response to the damages caused by the earthquake in Port Vila, the capital of the Republic of Vanuatu, Japan has decided to dispatch a medical information management team consisting of medical doctors and other staff to Emergency Medical Team Coordination Cell (EMTCC), which was established by the Ministry of Health, through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The team is expected to support in undertaking compilation and analysis of data related to the ongoing medical responses and international medical assistances.

The team will support the Ministry of Health in providing medical services to the affected people in an efficient and effective manner through the above mentioned cooperation.
