The 24th Japan-Spain Forum and its final report

On October 23, the 24th Japan-Spain Forum was held at the Kagawa International Conference Hall, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Kagawa Prefecture, and Takamatsu City. The overview of the symposium is as follows.
- At the opening ceremony, Mr. FUKAZAWA Yoichi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mr. Diego MARTÍNEZ Belio, State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Government of Spain, delivered opening remarks.
- Afterwards, three sessions were held under the theme of “Seeking a vision of global cooperation between Japan and Spain”. The topics of each session are as follows: “Initiatives for international peace and stability”; “Business cooperation between Japan and Spain in the global market”; and “Exchange in culture, art and architecture”. Experts from both countries developed the discussion in each session.
- At the closing ceremony, the co-chairs, Mr. SATO Yoshio, Special Senior Corporate Advisor to Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, and Ms. Ángeles DELGADO, President of the Spain Japan Council Foundation and President of Spain and Portugal for Fujitsu, issued the final report.
