The 1st Japan-U.S.-Philippines Cyber-Digital Dialogue

On October 18, the 1st Japan-U.S.-Philippines Cyber-Digital Dialogue was held in Singapore. The overview of the dialogue is as follows.

  1. This dialogue was co-chaired by Mr. SAITA Yukio, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Policy Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Nathaniel C. Fick, Ambassador at large, Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy, Department of State of the United States of America, and Jeffrey Ian C. Dy, Undersecretary, Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Philippines.
  2. At this dialogue, the three countries exchanged views on a wide range of issues relating to cyber and digital domains, such as CERT-to-CERT cooperation, Open RAN, undersea cables and capacity building.
  3. The three countries confirmed that they will continue to hold the Japan-U.S.-Philippines Cyber-Digital Dialogue and to bolster their cooperation.
