The presentation ceremony for "the Japan Foundation Award 2024" was held in Tokyo on October 16th, 2024. SUZUKI Hideo, Representative of the Government of Japan for Public Diplomacy (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary), attended the ceremony to congratulate this year's recipients: SHIOTA Chiharu (Artist), Association of Japanese Language Teachers of Mongolia, and The Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures.

Ambassador Suzuki expressed his gratitude to this year's recipients for their contributions to the promotion of international friendship and goodwill through their cultural and artistic activities over the years. He also stated that while the importance of the international mutual understanding is increasing more than ever, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, together with the Japan Foundation and artists from Japan and abroad, will continue to send out universal messages from Japan and make efforts to promote cultural exchanges around the world.

The presentation ceremony was attended by many people involved those who are engaged in culture and arts.
