The G7 Foreign Minister’s Meeting

On July 11, the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held in Washington D.C. for approximately 75 minutes from 9:40pm (8:40am local time on July 11). (Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries and the EU High Representative attended. Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended on Minister Kamikawa’s behalf, and Mr. Frédéric Mondoloni, Director General of Political and Security Affairs, attended on Minister Séjourné’s behalf.)
- During the discussion, the G7 members reaffirmed that they are united in supporting Ukraine. They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, especially the situation in Israel and Palestine, including the latest developments.
- Moreover, the G7 members confirmed that they will continue to coordinate closely on various challenges the international community faces.
