- The Government of Japan congratulates H.E. Mr. Muhammadu BUHARI on his reelection in the presidential election of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- The Government of Japan hopes that, under the leadership of President BUHARI, all parties concerned in Nigeria will work together to further foster democracy and economic development. In this regard, Japan is committed to continuously supporting efforts of the Government of Nigeria towards these goals and to further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship with Nigeria.
