The Attack in Vienna
(Statement by Press Secretary YOSHIDA Tomoyuki)
November 3, 2020
1. Japan extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved families for the loss of their loved ones and expresses heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured in the attacks which occurred in the Old City of Vienna on November 2. Japan stands in solidarity with the people in Austria in this difficult time.
2. Such act of violence cannot be justified for any reason, and Japan firmly condemns all forms of terrorism.
