Damage Caused by Heavy Rain and Flash Floods in Eastern Afghanistan

On August 28, in the wake of the enormous damage in eastern Afghanistan caused by heavy rain and flash floods, a message expressing condolences to those who lost their lives and the bereaved families as well as wishes for the early recovery of the afflicted areas was sent from Mr.MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs to H.E. Mr. Mohammad Haneef ATMAR, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
