The 6th Japan-Pakistan High-Level Economic Policy Dialogue

1. The 6th Japan-Pakistan High-Level Economic Policy Dialogue was held in Tokyo on July 11, 2019.
2. Mr. Kazuyuki Yamazaki, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mr. Noor Ahmed, Secretary of Economic Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs represented respective sides. Officials from related Ministries and agencies also attended the meeting.
3. In the meeting, Japan and Pakistan exchanged views on the current state and issues of Pakistan’s economy, trade and investment between Japan and Pakistan, measures to strengthen bilateral economic relations and to promote investment and export, and development assistance.
