The President of the Republic of Panama to Visit Japan

1. H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, President of the Republic of Panama and his spouse, will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from April 3 to 6, 2019.
2. During their stay in Japan, the President and his spouse will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a meeting with President Varela and host a dinner in his honor.
3. The Government of Japan hopes that President Valera and his spouse’s visit to Japan will further deepen the 115 years friendly relations between Japan and Panama.
