Emergency Assistance to Afghanistan in Response to the Flood

1. On March 22, upon the request of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Government of Japan decided to provide emergency relief goods (Tents, Blankets etc.) through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to Afghanistan in response to the damages caused by the recent Flood.
2. Upon the request of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and in light of the humanitarian perspective and the close relations between Japan and Afghanistan, Japan decided to provide emergency assistance to Afghanistan to meet its humanitarian needs.
