Chancellor of the Republic of Austria to Visit Japan

1. H.E.Mr. Sebastian Kurz, Chancellor of the Republic of Austria will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 15th of February till 17th of February 2019.
2. During his stay in Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan will hold a summit meeting with Chancellor Kurz and host a dinner in his honour. Chancellor Kurz will also visit Hiroshima.
3. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Austria. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Chancellor and hopes the visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Republic of Austria.
