1. The Fourteenth round of negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) was held in Beijing from December 6 to 7.

2. Mr. Kazuyuki Yamazaki, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs (Japanese Chief Delegate), Mr. Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (Chinese Chief Delegate), Ms. Yoo Myung hee, Deputy Minister for Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea (Korea Chief Delegate), and other representatives from each country attended the meeting.

3. In this round of negotiations, three countries agreed with the acceleration of negotiations on a FTA among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea and discussed how to proceed with its negotiations next year. Three countries also discussed a wide range of areas based on the progress of RCEP.

4. The three countries will work towards holding the fifteenth round of negotiations in Japan.
