IAEA marine monitoring experts visit Japan

1. Two experts from the IAEA Environment Laboratories are expected to visit Japan during 9-19 Oct. 2018 for collecting samples of sea water, sediments in the vicinity of TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and fishery products in Fukushima Prefecture.
2. This visit is part of a project following recommendations made on marine monitoring in a report by the IAEA in 2013 related to the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.
