Presidential Election in the Republic of Mali

1. The Government of Japan congratulates H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Boubacar KEITA on his reelection in the presidential election of the Republic of Mali.
2. The Government of Japan recognizes the important role of Mali for the stability in Sahel region and expects that, under the leadership of President KEITA, the Government of Mali will overcome the challenges such as the combat on terrorism and promote peace and prosperity in the country.
3. Japan is committed to further strengthening friendly and cooperative relations with Mali.
