14th Round of Negotiations for Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)

1. The 14th round of negotiations for Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will be held in Ho Chi Minh, Viet Nam, from August 15 to 19.
2. From the Japanese side, Mr. Keiya Iida, Deputy Director-General, Economic Affairs Bureau of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from other relevant ministries will participate in the meeting.
3. In this round of negotiations, the meetings of the Trade Negotiating Committee, in which senior officials will participate, and of working groups on Trade in Goods, Trade in Services and Investment are scheduled to be held, and the scope and method of negotiations, amongst others, will be discussed.
