Second Japan-UK Foreign and Defence Ministers' Meeting and Fifth Japan-UK Foreign Minister’s Meeting

1. The Second Japan-UK Foreign and Defence Ministers' Meeting and the Fifth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers’ Meeting will take place in Tokyo on January 8. Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Gen Nakatani, Minister of Defence, the Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, Secretary of State for Defence, will attend the meeting and widely discuss bilateral security and defence cooperation and regional affairs.
2. The Fifth Japan-UK Foreign Minister’s Meeting will take place on the same day where bilateral relations and International issues will be discussed.
