Terrorist Bombing in Lebanon
(Statement by Foreign Press Secretary Yasuhisa Kawamura)

1. Japan is deeply shocked and outraged by the terrorist bombing incidents in the Burj al-Barajneh, in the southern suburbs of Beirut which caused many deaths and casualties, on November 12. Japan expresses its condolences to the bereaved families and its heartfelt sympathies to those injured.
2. No act of terrorism can be justified for whatever reason or purpose. Japan firmly condemns such act of terrorism.
3. Japan expresses solidarity to the Government and the people of Republic of Lebanon.
