The 10th Japan-the Islamic Republic of Iran Human Rights Dialogue
1. The 10th Japan- the Islamic Republic of Iran Human Rights Dialogue will be held on Wednesday, December 17 in Tokyo.
2. The dialogue will be led by Mr. Akira Kono, Deputy Director-General of Foreign Policy Bureau, Ambassador in charge of UN affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Ms. Mansureh Sharifi Sadr, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director General of Human Rights and Women Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
3. At this dialogue, both countries are expected to explain basic policies on human rights and to have an exchange of views, among others, on legal issues, recent measures taken to promote and protect human rights, matters of interest and concern as well as cooperation at the United Nations.
