1. The sixth round of negotiations (DG/DDG Meetings) on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will be held in Tokyo from November 24 to 28.

2. From the Japanese side, Mr. Tatsuo Sato, Deputy Director-General, Economic Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Japan’s Co-Chair), and representatives from other relevant Ministries will attend the meeting. From the Chinese side, Mr. Sung Yuan Jiang, Deputy Director General, Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs, of the Ministry of Commerce, of the People's Republic of China (China’s Co-Chair), and other representatives will attend the meeting. From the Korean side, Mr. Kim Young moo, Director-General for FTA negotiations and East Asia FTA, of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea (Korea’s Co-Chair), and other representatives will attend the meeting.

3. In this meetings, various areas such as Trade in Goods, Trade in Services, Competition Policies, Intellectual Property, amongst others, will be discussed.

4. The sixth round of negotiations (Chief Delegates Meetings) on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will take place separately early next year.
