Second Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Improvement of the Business Environment Agreement between Japan-Peru for an Economic Partnership

  1. On Thusday September 18, the Governments of Japan and the Republic of Peru held the second meeting of the Sub-Committee on Improvement of the Business Environment for the Agreement between Japan-Peru for an Economic Partnership in Lima, the capital of Peru.
  2. From the Japanese side, Mr. Tomochika Uyama, Deputy Director-General of the Latin American and the Caribbean Bureau, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and others attended the meeting. From the Peruvian side, Mr. Edgar Vasquez, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and others attended the meeting. In addition, representatives of the private sectors in the two countries also participated in the meeting.
  3. The two sides had a frank and active exchange of views on investment environment, immigration control and other issues.
