Study Tour to Chiba City by the Diplomatic Corps in Japan

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Chiba City for the diplomatic corps in Japan on July 28.

2. These regional study tours are held every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as culture and industries for diplomats in Japan.

3. During this Study Tour, the diplomatic corps in Japan are scheduled to visit the city’s industrial-, educational- and cultural-related facilities in order to deepen their understanding of Chiba City.

4. Expected participants:

47 diplomats from 27 countries and 1 parmanet mission

El Salvador, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Singapore, Lebanon, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, RDC, Lithuania, Thailand, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mauritania, Portuguese Republic, Uzbekistan, Malawi, USA, Angola, Tajikistan, Zambia, Uganda, Fiji, Australia, Uruguay, Lesotho, Israel, India and the EU
