Study Tour to Ibaraki Prefecture by the Diplomatic Corps in Japan
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Ibaraki Prefecture for the diplomatic corps in Japan from March 6 to 7.
2. These regional study tours are held every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as culture and industries for diplomats in Japan.
3. During this Study Tour, the diplomatic corps in Japan are scheduled to visit the prefecture’s industrial-, tourism-, educational- and cultural-related facilities in order to deepen their understanding of Ibaraki Prefecture.
4. Expected participants:
21 diplomats from 16 countries
Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Botswana, Dominican Republic, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, Djibouti, Morocco, Guinea, India, Republic of Korea, Angola, Mozambique and Indonesia
