The 5th meeting of the trilateral dialogue

1. The 5th meeting of the India-Japan-United States trilateral dialogue was held in Tokyo on November 15, 2013.

2. Participants from three countries had active discussions concerning various issues such as maritime security and regional situations. They also exchanged their views on possible projects under the trilateral cooperation including a joint seminar/symposium on regional connectivity in New Delhi early next year. All sides agreed the talks help advance shared values and interests.

3. Participants shared their grave concern over the catastrophic situation in the typhoon-hit areas in the Philippines and expressed great sympathy to the victims of the disaster. They agreed to make utmost efforts to assist the affected people.

4. The group agreed to meet again in New Delhi to continue their deliberations and advance trilateral cooperation.
