Ninth Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue

1. The Ninth Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue will be held on Tuesday, September 10 in Tehran.
2. The dialogue will be led respectively by Mr. Jun Shimmi, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Policy Bureau, Ambassador in charge of UN affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Ms. Mansureh Sharifi Sadr, Director General of Human Rights and Women Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
3. At this dialogue, both countries are expected to explain basic policies on human rights and to have an exchange of views, among others, on recent measures taken to promote and protect human rights, matters of interest and concern as well as cooperation at the United Nations.
