8th Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue

The 8th Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue will be held on Monday, September 10 in Tokyo.
The dialogue will be led respectively by Mr. Akio Miyajima, Deputy Director-General of Foreign Policy Bureau, Ambassador in charge of UN affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Ms. Mansureh Sharifi Sadr, Director General of Human Rights and Women Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At this dialogue, both countries are expected to explain basic policies on human rights and to have an exchange of views, among others, on legal issues, recent measures taken to promote and protect human rights, matters of interest and concern as well as cooperation at the United Nations.
