The Reappointment of H.E. Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta as President of the Republic of Kenya

- The Government of Japan congratulates the reappointment of H.E. Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta as President of the Republic of Kenya.
- At the same time, Japan expresses its concern over the security issues that have arised in the process of confirming the results of the presidential election and expects that the stability will be established through law and order.
- Japan also expects that, under the leadership of President Kenyatta, Kenya will further advance its political, economic and social development. Japan will continue to support efforts of the Government of Kenya in that direction and will work to further strengthen our friendly and cooperative relationship.
