Message of Condolences from Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida for the attack with a massive explosion in Kabul

In the wake of the attack with a massive explosion causing many casualties which occurred in Kabul, Afghanistan on 31 May (same day in local time), Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, sent a message of condolences to H.E. Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on 2 June. In his message, Prime Minister Mr. Abe strongly condemned the terrorist attack, extended his condolences to the victims and offered his sincere sympathy for the injured. He also expressed Japan's solidarity with Afghanistan.
  2. Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, has also sent a similar message to H. E. Mr. Salahuddin Rabbani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
