JAPAN APEC Project“Good Practices of Women's Entrepreneurship in Local Communities in the Process of Disaster Reconstruction”

As Japan’s Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) self-funded project as well as a part of the Public Forum of the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Office and Reconstruction Agency will host a workshop titled “Good Practices of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Local Communities in the Process of Disaster Reconstruction”.

This Workshop aims to share good practices in the process of disaster reconstruction of Great East Japan Earthquake, where women played active roles as change agents and entrepreneurs, with similar experience of other APEC member economies that have suffered from serious damages caused by natural disasters. (Japanese – English simultaneous interpretation will be available)
