Messages of Condolences from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida for the Lao Air Force aircraft Crash

In the wake of the crash of a Lao Air Force aircraft on May 17 resulting in the deaths of many including high ranking officials, Mr. Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister, and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, respectively sent messages of condolences on May 18 to H.E. Mr. Thongsing Thammavong, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and H.E. Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, paying tribute to the contribution made by those who lost their lives in the crash for the development of Lao PDR and expressing their deepest sympathies.
