Japan-Australia-India-U.S. Foreign Ministers’ Telephone Meeting
On February 18, Japan-Australia-India-U.S. Foreign Ministers’ telephone meeting is going to be hosted by U.S. State Secretary Blinken. Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Marise Payne, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Australia, H.E. Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of India, and The Honorable Antony Blinken, Secretary of State of the United States will participate in the meeting. The four Ministers will hold wide-ranging discussions to advance practical cooperation in various areas such as “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” as well as global challenges including response to the COVID-19 and climate change. They will also discuss regional issues.
