The Terrorist Attacks by the Houthis on Saudi Airports

  1. 　On Sunday, June 23, the Coalition Forces led by the Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Abha Airport and Jizan Airport in the south of the Kingdom have suffered terrorist attacks by the Houthis, in which one civilian was killed and many were injured.
  2. 　The peace and stability in the Middle East is important for the international peace and stability as well as for the stability and prosperity of the global economy, and the Government of Japan strongly denounces the terror attacks.
  3. 　Japan remains committed to maintaining and reinforcing the peace and stability in the Middle East in cooperation with the related countries.
