The 7th Japan-Pakistan Security Dialogue

  1. 　The 7th Japan-Pakistan Security Dialogue was held on Tuesday, June 18 in Islamabad.
  2. 　This Dialogue was attended by Mr. Shigeki Takizaki, Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Hideo Suzuki, Director-General for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense of Japan, and other officials from the two ministries. The Pakistani side was represented by Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad, Special Secretary (Asia Pacific), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Rear Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence of Pakistan and other officials from the two ministries.
  3. 　Both sides exchanged views on security and counter terrorism as well as regional issues.
