General Election in Solomon Islands

  1. 　Japan welcomes that the general election in Solomon Islands, the first that was held after the withdrawal of RAMSI in June 2017, was conducted in a peaceful manner on 3rd April.
  2. 　Japan believes that the general election was an indication towards the consolidation of democracy in Solomon Islands.
  3. 　Japan will continue to further enhance Japan-Solomon Islands relationship.
