  1. 　The Government of Japan strongly condemns the bomb attack which took place on June 23, in Bulawayo, Republic of Zimbabwe during a rally for the general elections to be held on July30. The government of Japan expresses its heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured by the attack.
  2. 　The Government of Japan is closely monitoring the situation in Zimbabwe, and expects that the upcoming elections will be held in a free, fair and peaceful manner whereby democracy and economic development of the country will be promoted.
