Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida Issued Messages of Condolences following the Bombing Incident in Bangkok, Thailand

In response to a bombing incident which occurred on the night of August 17 in central Bangkok, the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand, and killed and injured many persons, including one Japanese national, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, respectively issued messages of condolences to H.E. Mr. Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand, and H.E. General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. In their messages, Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida extended their condolences to the victims and their bereaved families and wished for the rapid recovery of the injured persons.
