The Tokyo International Law Seminar
The Tokyo International Law Seminar is the training program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that, provides lectures in the field of international law, for officials and legal experts from Asia and Africa. Through the exchanges between the participants, the seminar aims to enhance knowledge of international law and contribute to the peace guided by the rule of law in the Indo-Pacific region. The seminar is also designed to foster professionals in the fields of international law by opening the door to lawyers and international law researchers from Japan.
In addition, the seminar was accompanied by the “Asia Cup”, one of the largest international law moot court competitions in Asia. “Asia Cup” has been held annually in Japan since 1999 for students from Asian countries.
The Tokyo International Law Seminar Foreign Lecturers Advisory Committee

The following three experts have been appointed as the members of the Tokyo International Law Seminar Foreign Lecturer Advisory Committee to advise on the selection of foreign lecturers and topics for the Tokyo International Law Seminar.

We will work with these Committee members to further enhance the content of the Seminar.
