Background and Purpose of the Event

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) will be organizing a Public Symposium in the occasion of the visit of Ms Fatou Bensouda, the ICC Prosecutor, to Japan. In the Symposium, the Prosecutor Bensouda, together with experts of ICC, will discuss wide range of topics in the context of recent development of ICC activities and lessons learnt of past 10 years since the enactment of the Rome Statute in 2002.
