ASIA-EUROPE BUSINESS FORUM (AEBF)

The Asia-Europe Business Forum (AEBF) was launched as one of the first initiatives at the 1st ASEM Summit held in Bangkok in 1996. This Forum is aimed at not only facilitating dialogue between entrepreneurs in both regions but also enhancing the relations between business and the ASEM government sector. From this point of view, leading businessmen from the 25 ASEM partners meet once a year to discuss trade and investment issues and propose recommendations that would enhance the attractiveness of the Asia-Europe economic environment.
