Japan International MANGA Award

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been hosting the Japan International MANGA Award every year, with the aim of honoring MANGA creators who contribute to the promotion of MANGA culture overseas and international cultural exchanges through MANGA.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of this Award, the Gold Award winning works of the past 15 years of Japan International MANGA Award are now being exhibited in two locations, Kyoto International Manga Museum and Yoshihiro Yonezawa Memorial Library of Manga and Subcultures. The details are down below.
(1) Kyoto International Manga Museum
- Exhibition Period:
- 27th January, 2022 - 28th March, 2022
- Exhibits:
- Gold Award Winners’ works from the 1st to the 15th Japan International MANGA Award.
(2) Yoshihiro Yonezawa Memorial Library of Manga and Subcultures, Meiji University
- Exhibition Period:
- 28th January, 2022 - 28th March, 2022
- Exhibits:
- Gold Award Winners’ works from the 1st to the 15th Japan International MANGA Award, and Silver Award Winners’ works of the 15th Award.
Both (1) and (2) are co-organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Kyoto International Manga Museum, and Yoshihiro Yonezawa Memorial Library of Manga and Subcultures.
